Your military service has earned you several education benefits. In fact, many veterans are able to use both their employer provided tuition assistance and the GI Bill®. The United States Sports Academy is approved by the Alabama State Approving Agency (SAA) to offer VA Educational Benefits (GI Bill®) to eligible individuals enrolled in approved programs.

• Members of the Select Reserves and National Guard who enlisted, re-enlisted or exhausted his/her enlistment period of six years after 1 July 1985 may be eligible for this program

• Statement of Understanding form (initialed and signed)
• Joint Services Transcript (JST Official //jst.doded.mil/jst/)
  • Air University (AU) and Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) //www.airuniversity.af.edu
  • Official Military transcripts and Academic Transcripts from ALL colleges, universities, and trade schools you have attended prior to USSA (must be received in a sealed envelope from the institution or electronically via Parchment).  Transcripts should be sent to your Admissions counselor or to Registrar.  VA educational benefits will not be certified until all official transcripts are turned in and evaluated by the end of the second term.
